Q: What is a Master?

A: A master is a profound teacher who imparts knowledge through the creative resources of his craft, thus enhancing the thought process of mankind and elevating his generation to higher levels of discovery, understanding, and accomplishments.

There are thousands of people on the globe who are experts in their field of endeavor, from the arts to the sciences. However, these gifted and knowledgeable individuals are not always masters. Masters share a common thread throughout the history of civilization. This common thread that all the past, present and future masters share is their bond with nature and the universe. In truth, it is the system that nature uses to manifest her gifts and beauty for the common man, for his understanding, use and enjoyment.

All masters show, illustrate, and believe that man's understanding and interpretation begins with some form of art. They manifest it in an innovative way for the time period of their earthly journey.

A master is from a different breed than a leader, although he may incorporate the positive attributes of a leader as well. The book, Michael Jackson American Master, defines a master as a person who has twelve essential attributes. It is important to know that a master does not require the student to prescribe to certain beliefs or thought processes. He does not employ force, physical or otherwise, to teach or recruit followers. He does integrate the creative and spiritual aspects of mankind.

A master allows the student to analyze and arrive at his or her own conclusion, interpretation and beliefs.

Q: Why has Michael Jackson been selected as a Master of our generation?

A: The people of the world need the living example of a master. The individual who is chosen has to be well known, and exhibit his craft in an innovative manner. Such a person has a true awareness and understanding of the universe, nature, and the needs of his fellow man. No one individual meets the twelve qualifications of a master, found in the beginning of the book, better than Michael Jackson. He integrates his essence into every aspect of his life.

Q: What are universal principles, and why are they so important to understand in order to obtain what I desire for my life?

A: Universal principles are the foundation of the system that nature uses in manifesting the necessities and beauty of all creation. They are the laws which apply not only to man, but to all of the planet's earthly creatures.

The universe stresses "oneness". Every creature or manifestation on the planet commences from one source. What the individual, in his quest, calls this source is personal in nature. The book uses a universal term, "Creator". Whatever term, or lack of such a term, the manifestations of nature were formed by a much Higher Source than man, and he is automatically tied into this Higher Source. Michael Jackson believes that God has no form. This is a powerful and accurate assessment, because He is everywhere, and in every provision we have on the planet, and in the vastness of the outer perimeters of time and space.

Q: Michael Jackson is known everywhere on the planet. Why is this, and why is he so different and unique from other people and performers?

A: The reason Michael Jackson is so well known, honored and appreciated is many-fold. Perhaps, the answer could be in Elizabeth Taylor's expression, "He is larger than life." If something is compared with something else, there has to be a relationship. If Michael Jackson is larger than life, he has to be a part of it and compared to it. Michael's comprehension of the total scope of life, and his relationship to the universal force, far exceed the understanding of the common man. He becomes part of the source, responds to the invisible portion of man's being, his soul. He uses intuition, inspiration and thought, and manifests his talent by breaking through the arbitrary boundaries which man, unquestionably, believes are the barriers to his individual creativity. Perhaps Bob Jones said it best when he mentioned that Michael is a "composite that nature desires every individual to attain". By being one with nature and listening to that invisible voice within his being, Michael is unique in both his presence and talent.

Q: If Michael Jackson has been acknowledged as the Master of our time and generation, why is he surrounded with so much controversy?

A: When Diane Sawyer commented on the controversy over his latest album, "HIStory", Michael Jackson responded, "Controversy! Good, they fell for the trap!". If a person is going to free himself, he must eliminate the cords that are binding him. In the thought process, this is accomplished by study and research. Michael Jackson is sending out powerful messages and the populace is going to have to stretch their own thinking and creative resources to fully comprehend and keep up with him. The advantages are many, and so fulfilling that you will have no desire to return to your old thought process. In truth, the very criticisms that are made are on the messages that the populace needs most. It's not about factions. It's not about separating people, but uniting in our oneness. Doing this, mankind practices the age-old universal principles which are constantly embracing him.
