March, the third month of the year of 1997. We are experiencing the weather characteristics of two seasons. The final cleansing of the winter, the cold winds, the quiet tear drops of the soft showers, and the greenery of the nature in the sprouts of new life in the lawns and plants. Soon, we will see a burst of the manifestations of nature in an abundant array of color, by a variety of the delicate blooms of the flowers welcoming spring.
The month of March has a double significance in our individual lives. It is time to put a spring into our actions which have laid dormant during winter. It is also time to listen to the profound beating of our souls to burst into activities which will enhance the desires of our personal goals and assist us in making our individual contributions to ourselves, mankind, and the planet.
On the last Sunday of the month, March leaves us with a spiritual message by celebrating Easter for the Christian religions of the world. However, no matter what your personal beliefs, Easter has a message for every one of us. Its story is of rebirth, of the willingness to make the supreme sacrifice of a pure life -- one that sets aside all of the thought processes which man has devised to stunt progress, and one that gives us the prime example of applying the laws of the universe. These are Love, Faith, and Charity. The greatest of all, we are told, is Love.
Love is such a common word, and one that is used freely in our day and age. Yet, Love claims the attributes of respect, acceptance and appreciation. We apply the same traits in our lives when we think less of our individual motives and expand them to respect the gift of all forms of life. We are to accept any challenge which is sitting in front of us on our journey in life, and enhance whatever the lessons are from our experiences. If we listen to the pulsating beat of our hearts, we can turn any experience into something warm and loving, and pass the lessons on to others. One of the primary essentials of growth is to show appreciation for our own life, and for all the human beings who are a vital part of the life experience.
In the universe, there is always the constant balance in life, just as there are in the seasons, the Easter message, and the pathway we are traveling. Listen, quietly, to the beating of the inner drum of your heart and soul. Then, only then, will you create the balance in your life and bring peace and joy to those who surround the planet with their experiences and talents. Listen, listen to the beat. It will never let you down, but position you in the embracing arms of nature. Don't wait, do it now. Be quiet and listen, can you hear it? It is there for the asking.
