It's all about Time

We have made it into another year of space and time. To man, the measurement of time is a very important aspect of his life. In fact, it governs him. It tells him when to get up, to get off work, to shop or to play. Time also tells him what to expect. Through the measurement of time, we put people into categories according to age. We have the baby, the toddler, the adolescent, the middle age, and the senior citizen. Amazing what the measurement of time and division of stages can do for mankind and the thought process.

Man, according to his timetable, thinks of the baby as being new, a beginning; and of the senior citizen as old and on their way out of the planet. It is so strange the manner in which man chooses to govern his life; putting certain segments as part of this whole experience called "life".

In looking at and studying universal principles, man's categories are so small and limiting. A day in the universe is so minute, rather like a flash. When we look up into a darkened sky and see all those celestial bodies, it is as if they are winking at us and saying, "Hey, nothing has happened yet. I am still here. I haven't moved!".

Time based on universal principles is so different; almost at extreme opposites of man -- the speed of light and sound; the creation of the planet over billions of years. Who is to say that man's interpretation of time is accurate? It all depends on the stage of the thought process.

Suppose there was no such sense of timing, where would man be then? Probably lost, as his whole world would be turned upside down. What would he do? Where would he go, and more importantly, when would he go? Strange thing, time.

What would happen if we were to admit that, perhaps, putting all things into stages and categories, while making life somewhat convenient, may not be what was intended after all. Suppose we were to use what seemed intuitive and natural. Suppose, using the imagination, all the creatures of the planet were the same age but at different stages of maturity? Suppose the knowledge we have gathered will be with us forever.

It's interesting to use the creative resources within us. It gives us a deeper understanding to what might be and what is. Perhaps, the best thing we can do with our earthly life is to make the best of our experiences. In the time it took to create the universe, our life is like a flash of light or the speed of sound. So, for all of you, make the most of life's experience. January is a good month to start.

After all, in man's world, it's all about time!
